The Shepherd and Flock

Sophie and I have been going lately to the walk in Farnham which begins at the Shepherd and Flock Roundabout. It is a really lovely walk passing some beautiful houses and farmland. At this time in the year there are baby lambs gambolling about and even a baby alpaca to see.

These first 2 pictures are from last Sunday afternoon when we went by ourselves... Sophie spent forever looking at the lambs and baa-ing at them.



These pics are from yesterday when we went with Charlotte and Bella. Unfortunately Soph threw her snack wrapper in the stream and when I ran out to get it grabbed a whole handfull of stinging nettles! Ouch!

Sophie's Friends

Sophie is beginning to interact with other children and play with them rather than just alongside them. She is beginning to say the names of a couple of her friends so that now all little girls are 'Kasey' (the name of the childminder's daughter) and all little boys are 'Alfie'.

What is really sweet is that every time she goes outside she calls out 'Alfie' as loudly as she can to try to get the attention of the neighbour's little boy who is 3. The two of them play really well and are generally back and forth over the back fence 3-4 times a week. So cute! I'll add some pics of that when I find my camera!
