Out with the Brothers Kay

Stephen and I have found a new pub not far from us where the atmosphere is relaxing and they serve yummy food. Saturday evening Stephen's brothers, their other halves, Stephen, Sophie and I went out for a meal there. It was really nice, but sad to be thinking it will be one of the last occasions where we will all be together before David and Vanessa leave for NZ. Will will miss them 'heaps' as they say in Kiwi-speak.

Frensham Little Pond

One of the nicest things about living in England is that even though it is so crowded there are lovely places all around where you can go to feel isolated, as if you are in the middle of nowhere. Frensham Little Pond is 15 min away from us and feels like that.

Saturday Charlotte and I took Sophie and Bella there for the morning. The two girls loved running about, playing football and doing their best to go swimming! Sophie even tried to copy a dog and drink out of the pond! I was very glad I had worn a skirt and flip flops so I could dash in after them...

Sophie is very into pointing to everything at the moment and asking "Whazat?" A place like Frensham Little Pond has countless things for her to explore. Here she is asking about a pine cone.

And finally at the Bridge for a cream tea after all that activity!

Breakfast

Sophie has decided that her favourite breakfast is now Rice Crispies... They not only taste yummy but they stick well to her spoon and make funny noises.
