Sophie has been discovering her hands in the last few weeks. And this last week in particular has shown remarkable progress. She now realises when she is holding something, will try to grasp things and reaches out for toys with both hands.
She is also reaching out when I read to her to touch the pages of the book.

Oh that's wonderful. She really looks as if she is reading! I'll have plenty of books here for her.
